"Sher" pronounced "shayr" ("shay" like in shade) is a Hindi word for lion.

"Palo" pronounced "paalo" ("paa" like in park, "lo" like in lo) is a Hindi verb that means "to raise or rear" as in "to bring to maturity or self-sufficiency, usually through nurturing care."

"Sher Palo," literally translated, means "Raise a Lion" or "Raise Lions."

Small groups of talented and motivated people can do big things. Be disruptive. Effect change. Fight the big fights that need to be fought. Help those that need help. And they can create immense value in the process. Sher Palo considers such people to be 'lions' -- shers.
